A guide to Adobe CS5
The designers and creative professionals the world over have been eagerly awaiting the release of Adobe CS5 to see what gems it has in store. Now that it is out on the market PC Site® has put together a guide on exactly what is available and how to get your hands on it.
What does Adobe CS5 consist of?
There are five different Creative Suite packages; CS5 Design Standard, CS5 Design Premium, CS5 Production Premium and CS5 Web Premium.
These packages contain a variation of the all-new versions of 14 point products as well as five brand new online services and two new products.
The two new products are Adobe Flash Catalyst CS5, which allows designers to produce interactive web content without coding and Adobe Flash Builder 4 Standard Edition, which is a professional development tool for data-driven Rich Internet Application development.
What if I already have another version of Adobe Creative Suite?
The great news is, if you already have CS2, CS3 or CS4 you can upgrade to CS5 rather than buying the full package from scratch. You can also upgrade from any Suite to any Suite, for example, from CS4 Web Premium to CS5 Production Premium.
Students and teachers also get up to 80 per cent off with Adobe’s new education offering.
