Dell has a wide range of laptops designed for all lifestyles and uses, from family computers to gaming machines and PC SiteĀ®’s guide will help you decide which the ideal range is for you.

Inspiron laptops

For those of you looking for a netbook, this is the family to be shopping in. Inspiron mini netbooks are designed for a busy lifestyle, with their ultraportable and lightweight design. They will keep you online when you are on the go.

Inspiron laptops are perfect for general purpose computing such as emailing, browsing the Web, playing music and social networking. They range from 11-17 inch screens and all Inspiron laptops and netbooks are available in a variety of colours.

Studio laptops

Studio and Studio XPS laptops are for people who want to do a bit more with their PC. Users who wish to watch movies, play videos, edit photos, as well as the usual office work would do well with a Dell Studio laptop. If you fancy all the perks of the Studio but in a more lightweight form then the XPS is a great option. You can get a more easily portable laptop with a 13 or 16 inch screen.

Alienware laptops

If you are a gamer, there is no better laptop than one of Dell’s Alienware models. The M15x and the M17x are superior machines with extensive power and performance. They are built as desktop gaming replacements, with the latest Intel Quad processors and mind-blowing graphics. If the specs don’t tempt you then the design features will; they are made from anodized aluminium and are available in metallic silver or metallic black.

Adamo laptops

Dells Adamo and Adamo XPS are a perfect mix of sleek design and advanced technology, ideal for those of you who want a high performance laptop that you can take anywhere. The Adamo has a 13.4 inch HD display, a tiny 1.64cm thickness and an Intel Core 2 processor ensuring that it’s not just a pretty case. The XPS model is even thinner measuring just 9.99mm and has added features such as touch response and a five hour battery.
