HP to create 50 job for graduates in Ireland
HP has announced that it will be creating position for 50 “highly-skilled multi-lingual” graduates at its Irish base in Co Kildare.
These new recruits will be working as support for the Microsoft software programs.
Martin Murphy, HP Ireland’s managing director, said that there could be the addition of a further 70 recruits at a later date depending on the success of these 50.

HP launches the Slate 500…finally!
HP has finally released the details of its addition to the ever-growing tablet market, the HP Slate 500.
Last week HP unveiled the Slate 500 which will run on a Windows 7 operating system, sports a 3MP webcam, memory card slot, 2 Gb of RAM and a 1.86 GHz processor.
This tablet unlike its main rival the iPad is being marketed more at a business customer who “doesn’t usually to work at a traditional desk,” according to HP. US prices have been reported to start from $799, that’s around £410 for the cheapest configuration.
Classroom computing made easy by HP
HP has announced three new solutions to help schools in the US teach with technology.
The HP MultiSeat enables up to ten students to use the same computer, reducing technology expenses and cutting energy costs by up to 80 per cent.
TeachNow is software designed to help non-tech-savvy staff while the SchoolCloud is a virtual desktop giving teachers and students 24/7 access to their data.
