Samsung Galaxy Tab is available to buy now!
Samsung has announced that its iPad competitor, the Galaxy tab, is now available to buy – just in time for Christmas!
Its seven inch screen is two inches smaller than the iPad, with a full capacitive touchscreen and 16 Gb of internal storage and a 1 GHz processor.
It’s running an Android 2.2 operating system which has full Adobe Flash 10.1 support and no fewer than two built in cameras, one on the back for capturing images and videos – which you can then edit and share online – and another camera on the front for videoconferencing.
Samsung and Lily Allen create Lucy in Disguise notebook
Samsung UK has just announced new and exclusive collaboration with Lily Allen’s vintage fashion label Lucy in Disguise.
Samsungs SF310 notebook featuring a bespoke Lucy in Disguise (LiD) design will be available to buy from the vintage Covent Garden store from early November.
Lily Allen said: “The unique design of these Samsung notebooks really complements the LiD concept. It’s a fantastic extension to the brand and encapsulates the LiD brand identity. The LiD design brings a vintage twist to modern technology.”
Samsung refreshes its Q Series family of laptops
A trio of new models has been added to Samsungs Q Series family of laptops – the Q330 with a 13.3-inch screen, the Q430 14-inch model and the Q530 with a 15.6-inch display.
The models are expected to come with the very latest features including 802.11n Wi-Fi, HDMI, up to 4Gb RAM and 640Gb hard disk drive.
Samsung has equipped the smaller Q330 with an Nvidia Geforce 310M graphics card and a Geforce 330M with 1Gb DDR3 for the Q430 and Q530.
