Toshiba to launch 3D laptops without 3D glasses?
In what could be a bold move, Toshiba are rumoured to be working on a 3D laptop that does away with the need for 3D glasses.
According to sources in the blogosphere, Toshiba’s first glass-free 3D notebook will be released in the second part of the year. The company will use the integral imaging technology, which uses a sheet of microlenses placed in front of an image. Toshiba’s laptop would be the first laptop to produce 3D images without either active shutter or passive polarized glasses.
