Dell Latitude Z

Wed, 14 @ 07:04

To stretch a sporting metaphor in the week after the World Cup Final, the Dell Latitude Z Series is to Dell what Carles Puyol is to the Spanish football team. Or perhaps just a touch prettier.

We've finally got our hands on it and there's a lot of look at - including the backlit keyboard, business card reading feature and the - alluring - touch button on the right hand side.

I wonder what that does? *Touch*

Dell Vostro V13 Laptop

Wed, 14 @ 06:18

Sleek, thin and fashionable, the Dell Vostro strikes you as a fine- looking machine at first viewing.

While a reviewer close by appears to have his laptop in a mini wind tunnel, the Dell Vostro V13 passes the PC Site benchmarking test, being thinner than a lollipop and not much more than the width of a pencil.

This will be a good companion of those on the go, and those of you who care about how your laptop looks - not just about what it does.

Cool and quick, the Dell Vostro 3000 comes in a case of blood orange red.

Dell Latitude XT2 with swivel monitor

Wed, 14 @ 04:13

Something a little different at the Dell Tech Boot Camp. This model, the Dell Latitude XT2, comes with a twisting monitor, and perhaps will save us all from craning our necks about wildly on the train.

We've also got our hands on the rugged version, which is something of an unkempt beast.

We're at the O2 today for the Dell Tech Boot Camp. We've just been welcomed by Ed English, who pointed out that the computer industry is at 'a critical inflection point.'

There's about five tonnes worth of glimmering tech on the stage before us. We'll let you know what we make of it.
