Google launch Android 2.2 with full Flash support
Google has unveiled its next-generation OS (operating system), known either as Android 2.2 or by its codename Froyo.
The new features found in Android 2.2 mean that users will experience full support for Adobe Flash and Adobe Air for the first time.
This will give anyone with an Android 2.2 based smartphone full access to all Flash content on the Internet, including videos on popular sites such as YouTube and Vimeo.
Expect the update to be coming to a smartphone near you within the next few weeks, with the Nexus One rumoured to be first on the list.
