UK launch for Dell Streak 7 tablet
Dell’s new 7 inch tablet, the Streak 7, was launched in the UK this week. Made of extra-robust, scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass, the tablet is aimed at users who want their tablet to be made of sterner stuff.
The Streak 7 runs on Android’s 2.2. version (an operating system mainly found on smartphones) and has an 800 x 400 touchscreen. It provides 16Gb of internal storage and supports Flash. Keeping in line with the current tablet trend, it also has two cameras – one 5Mp camera at the back, and another 1.3Mp facing the front, which enables the tablet to be used for video chats.
The Dell Streak 7 tablet is out to buy in the UK now, with prices starting at £299.
