McAfee reveals growing dangers of digital music and movies
McAfee has just announced its latest findings from its “Digital Music & Movies Report: The True Cost of Free Entertainment”.
The security software provider has revealed that there is an increase in cyber threats related to online music. McAfee stated that searching for “MP3s” created added risk for searches while “free MP3s” further increased this risk.
McAfee advises web users to “avoid searching for “free” content and instead, stick to legitimate, paid sites to get music and movies” and to use comprehensive security software such as McAfee® Total Protection™.
