Symantec reveals that cyber attacks cost businesses £2.1m a year
The ‘State of the Enterprise Security Report’ released by Symantec has revealed that during 2009 cyber crime cost businesses an average of £2.1 million.
The top three pieces of information that were reported stolen were intellectual property, financial information and customer personally identifiable information.
Over 40 per cent of the business Symantec spoke to, rated cyber crime as their biggest concern.
