Acer announce new Aspire 5755 notebook
The Acer Aspire 5755 is the latest all-round laptop by the renowned computer manufacturer, combining the latest in processing power with strong graphic performance and smart design.
Just in time for the upcoming scramble to start the new academic/school/financial year with an improved computing device, Acer have announced their new Aspire 5755. It is pitched as a laptop that can be almost all things to all people – there are the usual second generation Intel Core processor options (i3/i5/i7 with top speeds of up to 2.20GHz, 2.60GHz and 2.70GHz respectively), an LED backlit display and the Dolby Advanced Audio v2 soundsystem, which together make for a nice little computing package.
The design is classic Acer: not in-your-face stylish, but with a distinct bit of class and a sense for what the user wants in a laptop. This means a nice, big chiclet keyboard, a slightly left-of-centre trackpad and an LED-lit 15.6 inch display.
For long-distance video phone calls to friends, family or colleagues, the Acer 5755 comes with an HD webcam and microphone.
The Acer Aspire 5755 is now out to buy at a recommended retail price of £899 (incl. VAT).
