New Acer Aspire One 532 has 10 hours of battery life
We are all looking for that netbook that lasts as long as we need it; a PC that isn’t just ultraportable so long as you’re near a power plug. Introducing the Acer Aspire One 532, a netbook that can last up 10 hours and has lots of power underneath its tiny chassis.
Unlike its predecessor, the Aspire One 531, this netbook does not disappoint when it comes to battery life. Acer claim that the single six cell battery can last up to 10 hours, during normal internet browsing using WiFi, and manages to do so through power saving.
Its 10.1inch display has LED backlighting, enabling it to save 22.2 per cent of its power during use. It also includes the new Intel Atom™ N450 platform “that integrates graphics and memory controller in a single chip,” said Acer. This basically means it uses less power, aiding battery life, without the loss of graphic performance.
The Aspire 532 also has a 93 per cent standard size keyboard, integrated Wi-Fi®, Mobile Intel® NM10 Express Chipset, up to 2 GB of DDR2 memory, and a large internal hard disk with up to 250 GB of capacity! What more could you want from this little tike!
This small netbook, less than 25mm thick is the perfect travelling companion, whether for work, leisure or on everyday use, it will not let you down.
