Acer Aspire Z5763 all-in-one 3D entertainment centre unveiled – comes with NVIDIA graphics
A sharp blow was delivered to the 3D naysayers yesterday when Acer announced the release of their new all-in-one computer doubling up as a 3D entertainment centre, the Acer Aspire Z5763.
It might not look all that different to Acer’s Z3101 all-in-one, but this bad boy here is tailored specifically to those looking to upgrade their home entertainment. This means that there is a focus on 3D visuals, and with either the NVIDIA GeForce GT440 or the NVIDIA GeForce GT435M graphics card ensuring some pretty impressive, immersive visuals.
Good visuals would be lost on a below-par screen, which is probably why the Acer Aspire 5763 includes a 23 inch screen that supports full HD 1080p video playback. To go with these specs, this all-in-one entertainment beast includes integrated 5W stereo speakers with a nice range of sound settings. Via the optional TV tuner, users will also be able to watch high-quality TV on their computer.
As far as performance goes, Acer seems to have had their confidence pills for breakfast with this one – the newest Intel Core Sandy Bridge processors power the Acer Aspire 5763 to an extent where gaming and heavy multitasking is likely to be a breeze. 2TB memory storage and an integrated 2MP webcam round off this impressive new Acer offering.
The Acer Aspire Z5763 will be out to buy in mid-May, at a price of £999.
