Acer TravelMate 5760
Acer have announced a new member of the TraveMate family the 5760, this laptop is a general upgrade to the series, we see the second generation of Intel i Core processors, and the addition of discrete graphics. The addition of NVIDIA Optimus technology which automatically boosts or slows performance depending on what applications you happen to be running.
This professional notebook weighs a little more then you commonly expect for a professional machine, crossing the 2Kg mark puts it well out of the ultraportable category It does, however, include an optical drive and 15.6 inch display, combined with the impressive CPU this TravelMate would serve well as a desktop replacement.
The Mobile Intel HM65 Express Chipset manages reduces power consumption if you are using the 5760 on the road so you can get full use out of the battery. With this laptop you’ll also find multi-tasking much easier, standard computers tend to slow considerably when working a dual or triple screen but the combined graphics and processors installed on the TravelMate 5760 allow you to storm through processor heavy work.
Acer have pushed the boat out on the rest of this TravelMate’s specs too, it includes up to 750 Gb storage and 8 Gb RAM. You also get a great range of connective options too, so getting on to networks besides those at the office is a cinch with both Bluetooth and 3G capabilities.
