Acer unveil 16Gb version of Iconia Tab A500
The Acer Iconia Tab A500 with 16Gb memory is now available to buy in the UK. It is the model with the highest amount of hard drive storage and will retail at around £350.
Acer today announced that their Iconia Tab A500 (reviewed on PC-Site) is now out to buy in its 16Gb version. This tablet runs on Google Android’s latest “Honeycomb” 3.0 version and features Acer’s own clear.fi media sharing system. The latter is a great little tool for creating a shared multimedia environment across the network of a household, while the former is the by now well-known OS platform specifically tailored for tablets.
One of the main features of the Acer Iconia Tab A500 is its graphic prowess – the high-res display makes great use of contrast to enhance image and video viewing, and, via its HDMI port, you can hook it up to your TV to enjoy HD content in full HD.
It also comes with the brand new dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2, the first dual core processor for mobile devices, and Wi-Fi, 3G and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity.
It is now available at most UK retailers at £349.99 including VAT.
