Professional edition of Adobe Digital Publishing suite now out
Adobe Systems has introduced the Professional Edition of its Digital Publishing Suite. The updated version of the publishing suite will allow users to publish content to Android tablets, the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet and the Apple iPad.
Adobe creative and interactive solutions senior vice-president David Wadhwani said that the new suite will help publishers tailor their output to the growing tablet market. Using the Adobe Digital Publishing Suite, which ties in with the Adobe InDesign CS5.5 and Creative Suite 5.5 software, publishers will be able to create and distribute journalistic or corporate publications via mobile across the increaslingy vital mobile channels.
“While the entertainment aspect of tablet devices is incredibly high, we also know that tablets will have a profound impact on the enterprise. We are starting to see innovative work from companies like Mercedes-Benz to Credit Suisse, who have used our digital publishing tools to create fantastic brand experiences on tablet devices that address real business needs around customer engagement,” Wadhwani said
