Apple developing super-thin 15 inch Mac Notebook
Apple is currently in the process of whipping up another ultra-thin laptop, according to MacRumours. It’s not yet clear whether the device will be a MacBook Air or MacBook Pro.
“Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels”, as Kate Moss is said to have quipped once, and Apple seem to agree. Their flagship MacBook Air has been the thinnest laptop on the market for a while, but has been seen mainly as a vanity product. Now Apple are widely expected to extend the MacBook Air design to their more mainstream laptops.
Rumour has it that this new laptop, which is currently in the testing stages, won’t have an optical drive.
The MacBook Air and Pro lines were both updated only recently, so this is a pretty intriguing development. MacRumour speculated that this new ultra-thin laptop might be available in time for Christmas, so watch this space.
