Super SonicMaster: ASUS announce launch of new N Series
ASUS this week announced the arrival of their latest notebook, the N Series. This laptop is tailored towards audio fanatics and comes in a pretty swish design by legendary audio specialist David Lewis.
The piano-gloss finish is reminiscent of high-end home entertainment equipment, and it looks like the ASUS N Series will be a more portable version of that. The inside of the laptop is mainly aluminium, which makes for a nice contrast and highlights the “fast-type keys and the smoothed-out integrated power button” (ASUS).
Designer David Lewis has been brought on board for this to bring together appealing visuals with some high-powered specs, and the results look intriguing: apart from the classy exterior, there are 2nd generation Intel Core processors, USB 3.0 ports, an NVIDIA GEForce GT555M graphic card and an enhanced version of the SonicMaster technology. An external subwoofer will also be included in the bundle.

The ASUS N Series is available in-store and online from PC World, Comet and Currys.
