Dell to introduce super-thin new laptop
Dell took the game to the MacBook Air in 2009 with their Adamo range, and they are looking to repeat the trick with a new line of laptops to be unveiled in the coming weeks.
According to reports, the first of the new ultra-skinny laptops will have a 15.6 inch display as well as Intel’s latest Sandy Bridge processor.
The Adamo range was discontinued at the beginning of this year, but the new Dell laptop range will try to combine processing prowess (desirable especially for businesspeope and gamers) with stylistic and aesthetic qualities. “This is not a one-time product. This is a full commitment to a product category that is focused on thin and powerful”, a Dell source was quoted as saying.
An official announcement regarding the new ultra-thin laptop range is expected during the next few weeks.
