HPs Consumer Desktop PC line makeover

To replace the Pavilion p6700 series, HP have announced the p7 to become the next mainstream, mass-market desktop. These systems are starting relatively low on the price scale, but the budget cost atrophies as you start factoring in the premium specs. Like all basic desktop towers, the p7s can be upgraded to the very top with Intel Core processors or AMD Athlon CPUs.
The p7s also have HP’s LinkUp software, enabling you to control other systems on the network remotely – a great help for software repairs – instruction from across the room or a way to check up on other peoples’ progress.
HP Pavilion Elite HPE h8 series will take the place of the Pavilion Elite HPE-500, for multimedia users requiring a lot of power. This will be quite a step up with additional ATI or nVDIA graphics systems allowing you to generate 3D graphics quicker and provide the right specs to run Adobe’s latest Creative Suite programmes 5.5.
