Google introduces new online video editing tool

Rosie Khdir reveals Google’s next weapon in its bid to take over, well, everything! The YouTube video editor allows you to edit videos without the hassle of uploading Gb crunching software.

Google has just announced the new YouTube Video Editor, a feature that allows users to create/edit videos online without the need for any additional software.

Users can combine multiple videos to create a new longer piece, cut scene at the beginning and end, and add soundtracks or audio from YouTube’s AudioSwap library.

Google, a long standing advocate of cloud computing has introduced this cloud-based video on TestTube where YouTube engineers and developers test out new tools and get feedback from users – sort of like a beta version.
