Plug-in review: Daily Dilbert
Everyone loves Dilbert, the coffee-slurping, underachieving office drone worn down by life and a lack of interest from the ladies – but chances are the comic isn’t being published in your daily newspaper (and chances are you don’t read a physical daily newspaper anyway).
Thank god there’s an add-on for that. Daily Dilbert, a Firefox extension built by two developers with a sense of humour, delivers exactly what it says on the tin: a little strip involving Dilbert and the other amazing characters.
Installation is pain-free and speedy, and the add-on is barely noticeable in your browser (see picture above). Almost too unnoticeable, in fact – but that’s by the by. A lovely feature is the fact that, apart from Dilbert, you can choose between a number of other comic strips: the absolutely essential Bloom County and Calvin & Hobbes, and other classics such as Garfield and Peanuts.
