Lenovo ThinkPad X1 details & promo video
The specs of the newest addition to Lenovo’s X Series have appeared on a product listings page put up by Lenovo itself, and a promo video showcasing the main features of the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 has been doing the rounds on tech blogs since late last week.
On the product page, the specifications for the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 include a Gorilla Glass display protection, an LED backlit display and a Sandy Bridge Intel Core i7 GPU. At 0.85 inches, it is only about 0.2 inches thicker than the latest MacBook Air, and it will apparently come with up to 8Gb RAM and a battery life approaching 8 hours.
The video accompanying the release is cheesier than 50% of all Sandra Bullock films, but if the backlit keyboard is as waterproof and bump-resistant as it looks, it could be a great addition to the Lenovo ThinkPad range.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 laptop is due to start shipping tomorrow, but at the time of writing there was no confirmed price.
