Sony releases a colourful limited edition Billabong W Series notebook
Rosie Khdir takes a look at Sony’s latest venture, a laptop that has journeyed to Australia and back – the new and very colourful, limited edition Billabong VAIO W Series laptop.
If you want to make a splash this summer with a new PC why not go for the limited edition “Imperial Line” VAIO W Series?
The design was inspired by Billabong’s 2010 summer board short range and marks Sony’s first collaborative design with the label. This special W Series features a lime green, blue and back paint wash effect and the Famous Billabong logo.
Every one of these summery notebooks comes with pre-loaded Billabong content including images and episodes of a planned TV series featuring a handful of Billabong’s key athletes.
Andy Irons, three-time world surfing champion and Billabong team rider, said of the collaboration:
“I love the design and involvement of Billabong in the making of this notebook. I live on the road and I carry my whole life online via my laptop”.
The notebook is ultra compact, and is a laptop for students who enjoy an active lifestyle. It has an HD 10.1-inch LED backlit screen with a 1366×768 pixel resolution. It comes equipped with an Intel® Atom™ Processor N470 (1.83GHz), a 250Gb hard drive and a 1Gb memory.
The new limited edition Billabong W Series VAIO will be available from 19th July 2010.
