Acer’s budget laptop is a surprisingly good looking and fast machine, which for the money gives performance way out its league.
It’s a real all rounder of a laptop, on light use with word processing, it manages a respectable four hours, while on full burn you will get a hour and a half.
The Blu-ray drive, Dolby sound and the 2GB Nvidia GeForce graphics card mean that the Aspire is great for movies and gaming. The 15.6 inch hi-def screen gives a great display which doesn’t reflect too much.
With 4Gb of RAM and 500Gb hard drive, with the 2.2GHz Core 2 Duo gives you a really nippy performance.
Why is the Aspire H739 so great ?
There’s good accessibility with 3 USBs, 1 USB/eSATA and an HDMI port.
It’s not the most stylish laptop on the market, but rounded blue lid and nicely set out keyboard give it a certain charm, and there is even an independent numeric key pad.
This may not sound like a big deal but if you do absolutely anything that requires you to use spreadsheets or databases, it’s so much easier than using the number strip along the top of the keyboard, as with many laptops.
