"The wide 21.5 inch screen makes this All-In-One an excellent multimedia system, doubling up perfectly as home computer and television."

Acer’s Z3101 All-In-One is by all means a mixed bag: the good weighs in equally with the bad. So have a quick read of our review – because if it ticks the right boxes for your needs, then you won’t be disappointed with this machine.
The Acer Z3101 comes with a wireless keyboard and mouse so your desk will remain blessedly free of wires. Touch screen technology is spreading past the novelty stages now; but it does still add a bit of fun to computer use and will simplify some tasks.
What we like best
The wide 21.5 inch screen makes this All-In-One an excellent multimedia system, with the Realtek Audio integrated speakers the Acer Z3101 doubling up perfectly as home computer and television. The addition of a freeview TV tuner and remote control in the box is definitely a nice touch. There’s also plenty of room for recorded television with 1 TB storage, which is a bit overzealous on the designers’ part but very much appreciated nonetheless.
With All-In-Ones attachments are key so it’s great to see a wide array of ports including six USB entry points, allowing you to accessorize and keep the wireless trend going.
Finally, the Acer Z3101 is a very well priced machine. You get a good deal more than you’d find searching for a laptop or desktop in a similar price tier– it’s good to see affordable yet quality tech available.
What we like least
Frankly, it’s not the best looking All-In-One on the market – its competitors are all angled more towards style. Functionality usually comes second with this computer format, yet the Acer Aspire Z3101 is sort of boxy. The integrated speaker bar (though it works well) makes this PC look cumbersome, with a screen that sits quite high, so unless you’re tall or have an adjustable chair you may find using the Acer Z3101 a bit awkward.
Spec-wise this PC is respectable but nothing to write home about. However, the AMD Athlon II is by no means a low grade processor and most home users won’t require much more than 2.5 GHz anyway.
As previously mentioned it’s hard to like or hate the Acer Z3101 - it works well and the only major complaints are cosmetic really, but if you need a nice large screen PC to use at home you won’t go wrong with this machine.

The Acer Z3101 is a touchscreen desktop All-In-One, this technology is now getting pretty familiar but it is still fun to use. The Acer Z3101’s major downfall is mostly in its style, or lack thereof. However we do appreciate the wide 21.5 inch screen.
Acer Aspire Z3101 All-In-One

After what seems like an age of netbooks and shrinking mobile devices having a broad screen to view pictures of friends or watch a movie on is a welcome retreat. The Acer Aspire Z3101 is geared towards multimedia use, the integrated bar speaker that stretches under the screen is a bit, well old-fashioned but does the trick for sound.
As for components the Acer Aspire Z3101 is adequately kitted, the only mammoth part of it, besides the speaker, is the 1 TB storage which is a great asset in an age of downloaded movies and recorded tv shows.
