"Adobe Acrobat X comes with new Microsoft SharePoint integration too, making it an essential tool for most businesses."
Rosie Khdir
PC Site takes a look at the latest edition of Acrobat, Adobe Acrobat X, which allows for easier collaboration and smoother PDF creation.
Users can go for the Standard, Pro and Suite packages, which are all built for different user types, from amateurs to experts. Here at PC Site we have reviewed the Adobe Acrobat X Standard edition.
What we like best
In the latest edition of this software package, customers can expect to see some great new features.
With the new Adobe Acrobat X edition you can automate routine, multi-step tasks with new guided Actions and share them easily with coworkers and collaborators.
You can also quickly capture, edit and combine digital content right from the desktop with dynamic communications between Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat.
Adobe Acrobat X also provides users with dedicated add-ons for Office documents such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint to enable extra support, for links for example. Adobe Acrobat X also comes with new Microsoft SharePoint integration too, making it an essential tool for most businesses.
What we like least
Adobe Acrobat X is very comprehensive, but with that comes complex workflows and an almost overwhelming array of tools; it may be a struggle for beginners.
New consumers will also still have to pay a hefty sum if they want to work the Adobe way, with Acrobat X Suite retailing at over £300.
Adobe Acrobat X has some fantastic new features that will please most users. The interface is cleaner and everything about it is faster and more streamlined. This is however definitely a product for customers with the money to spare.
