"With this machine Dell have adhered to classic netbook design"
Karim Beerahee
The Dell Latitude 2120 is a business netbook boasting a compact 10.1 inch screen. With this machine Dell have adhered to classic netbook design, presenting to you all the bare necessities for computing on the go. For those of you after a steadfast, portable machine the Latitude 2120 is certainly worth the consideration.
What we like best
You are certainly in for a sturdy machine with the Dell Latitude 2120. As is common in business computers, there’s no glossy shell, but the 2120 does comes with a rubber coating which helps add protection against spills as well as knocks and drops. The fully upgraded spec of this Latitude netbook is quite powerful; for a net book the dual core processor of the Intel Atom N550 is a force to reckon with in the micro computing world. The dual-core feature lets you make good use of the VGA, which is common practice with netbooks, but now you won’t be slowed down too much.
A multitouch HD panel makes this computer innovative, added touch features is a remarkable addition to a netbook and certainly comes in handy when multitasking.
What we like least
The upgraded 6-cell battery protrudes out of the back of the Latitude 2120. Granted, your getting extra power so it is a minor complaint but a bit of a design flaw nevertheless. The 2120 is already quite a cubist machine, so we would have thought something could have been worked out there. If you are not after longer battery life then have no fear the 3-cell fits like a battery should.
Also we see rather a compressed touchpad, everybody’s aware that you’re sacrificing space with a netbook but cramped cursor movements are never a pleasure.
For a business netbook it is rather curiously designed, the colour scheme and girth make it appear almost childish. For the cost you could also get a lower end laptop with a 15 inch screen and a capable graphics module. Nevertheless if daintiness isn’t your thing, and powerful netbook that covers the bones of what you’d need a computer for is, then the Dell Latitude 2120 is certainly a fair choice.

Dell Latitude 2120 an excellent addition to the netbook range, the Dell Latitude 2120 is a bit cubist in reality but is a tribute to classic netbook design, with all the essential components you would expect to find, and really are necessary for portable computing to get done easily and with minimal fuss.
Dell Latitude 2120

Dell Latitude 2120 doesn’t have a glossy and easily smudged casing, it boasts a decent hardworking man’s rubber external shell, this provides added durability and even greater resistance against spills and knocks.
The Dell Latitude 2120 has a good Intel Atom N550 dual core, this is great for implementing the VGA, so that you can compute on two screens, excellent since the portable 10.1 inch portable viewscreen is great if you’re on the go but not much to work on if you are in the office.
