"we actually found very little that displeased us with the Lenovo ThinkPad G570"
Karim Beerahee
Lenovo is most famed for its ThinkPad range, these computers make perfect companions in the office and at home, they don’t tend to catch the eye but that’s just part of their subtle charm. Lenovo ThinkPad G570 fits nicely into the fold; this laptop has the specifications to suit both a professional demands and is more than capable of streaming video or playing games in your down time.
What we like best
The ThinkPad G570 comes with a very respectable set of components at a mid-level pricing; if you take a look at our specifications you’ll see a thorough collection of added multimedia and ports. We feel that this machine really should be more expensive, the ergonomic design and discrete colouring matched with the style of ThinkPad machines lends the Lenovo G570 an almost executive look, since it is fully upgradable this laptop can become a true powerhouse if that is what you are after.
We also approve of the Lenovo G570s spacious wrist-rest and incorporated num pad on the keyboard, though we found this machine to be more directed towards home use, if you wanted to get some of those spreadsheets updated this machine has the facilities to assist. We’re seeing a golden age of laptops with good quality speakers; the Lenovo G570 packs a pair of integrated MSI CX640-018UK speakers. This audio package complements the 15.6 inch screen, and combined with an AMD Radeon GPU you’ll really be able to make the most of the Lenovo G570 as an entertainment module, especially if you get the blu-ray drive installed.
What we like least
The minor complaint of a reduced touchpad, it does make cursor usage a bit fiddly, so you might want to get a mouse to avoid hand cramps, other than that we actually found very little that displeased us with the Lenovo ThinkPad G570.
This computer is just a little more expensive than your average run-of-the-mill laptop, but you’ll find it a worthy investment, performance wise it blows other machines in its class out of the water. You can get supreme processing and entertainment possibilities from the Lenovo ThinkPad G570.
