The SL410/SL510 are designed for premium office usage as well as providing a variety of entertainment features for after hours use.
What we like best
The screens are no longer an issue with ThinkPads, as the SL Series comes with an anti-reflective coating and VibrantView technology to ensure brightness and crisp colour.
Many of the features of the SL Series are optional, but this only means you can decide depending on budget how well equipped you wish your ThinkPad to be. Despite this increase of developed technology the SL Series is still around 10% lighter then previous ThinkPads.

What we like least
If you are looking to impress with your laptops physical presence alone, the SL4/510 is not for you.
Whilst it is an impressive machine, the structure of it is highly reminiscent of older models, though its inner components are top of the range. This may be a suitable quality for professionals seeking functionality above all.
A sturdily put together, highly connective and versatile machine, fully capable of being updated with the latest gadgetry. The matte finish adds to the unassuming look which may or may not be a blessing to the buyer. The SL410/510 is lightweight and perfect for office and leisure use. It comes complete with fingerprint reader and a backing up capability which is appreciated by many small businesses. This is part of the ThinkVantage Technologies which make these systems easier to use and faster to recover.
