"If you are looking for a fully comprehensive top of the range operating system then Microsoft’s Windows 7 Ultimate package is the one for you."
Karim Beerahee
Ultimate contains all features available with Windows 7 and is the premium package of this edition of the Windows operating systems.
This is a great operation system for corporate or business users who are looking for that extra protection and diversity.
What we like best
If you are looking for a fully comprehensive top of the range operating system then Microsoft’s Windows 7 Ultimate package is the one for you.
It comes with all the selling points of the Home and Professional packages, such as the advanced Window media Centre, Internet Explorer 8 and faster shut and boot up times.
The Ultimate package is designed for those who really need a system to cross the language barrier, it is able to compute in any of 35 languages.
It comes with the new simplified navigation features like Shake, Jump Lists, and Snap as well as a feature that allows you to back up your complete system over a network.
The other device unique to this edition is added protection with BitLocker, which encrypts data on the PC and portable devices to mind your data against theft or loss.
What we like least
If you are shifting from an alternative operating system be warned Windows 7 has been seen as somewhat revolutionary, in that it is not just a basic update from Vista and XP, but a redesign too.
So the new system provides higher functionality but is a change that requires some getting used to.
As the fullest installment of the Windows 7 family it has little extra that the others don’t, these features alone aren’t exactly distinguishing for the system but if such features are necessary for your work or interests they really top off the package nicely.
